The Karnataka Lokayukta Police on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches at over 42 locations across the state in connection with disproportionate assets (DA) cases registered against eight government officers.

The searches were carried out in Bengaluru City (3), Mandya (1),Gadag (1),Mysuru (1),Vijayapura (1) and Yadagiri (1),covering residences,offices and properties linked to relatives of the accused officers.
According to officials,assets worth a total of ₹35.65 crore (₹3,56,51,53,66) were unearthed,including ₹24.05 crore in immovable properties and ₹11.59 crore in movable assets.
Bengaluru Cases:
Shashidhar R CEO,Singanayakanahalli Raita Seva Sahakara Sangha,Yelahanka Taluk Searches at five locations revealed four sites,two houses and two acres of agricultural land worth ₹4.25 crore.
Movable assets included ₹1.35 lakh cash,gold and silver ornaments worth ₹29.74 lakh,vehicles worth ₹42.25 lakh and fixed deposits of ₹17.25 lakh,totalling ₹90.59 lakh. The total disproportionate assets are estimated at ₹3.43 crore.
Dr H C Indresh, Associate Professor, Veterinary College, Hebbal:
Six searches led to the detection of 10 sites and two houses valued at ₹2.20 crore.
Movable assets comprising cash,jewellery and vehicles were valued at ₹32.10 lakh.The total DA value is pegged at ₹1.88 crore.
Vasanth Valappa Naik,Chief Engineer,K-SHIP,PWD
Searches at 10 places revealed four sites,seven houses and 22 acres 20 guntas of agricultural land worth ₹5.65 crore.
Movable assets worth ₹74.74 lakh were also seized.The total disproportionate assets are estimated at ₹4.41 crore.
Mandya

Searches at four locations uncovered assets worth ₹4.46 crore,including immovable properties valued at ₹2.19 crore and movable assets of ₹2.26 crore.The total DA value is estimated at ₹3.01 crore.
Gadag
M K Surakod,Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Officer, Shirahatti.
Six searches revealed six sites,one house and 29 acres of agricultural land worth ₹1.38 crore.
Movable assets including jewellery, vehicles and other items totalled ₹73.56 lakh.The DA value stands at ₹1.82 crore.
Mysuru:
Asif Iqbal Khaleel,AEE and In-charge Executive Engineer, Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, Mysuru.
Searches at four places revealed five sites, seven houses and 38 guntas of agricultural land valued at ₹5.80 crore.
Movable assets,largely comprising gold and silver ornaments and vehicles, were valued at ₹3 crore.The total DA value is estimated at ₹6.89 crore—the highest among the accused.
Vijayapura:
Prakash Irappa Ghodbale,Junior Engineer,KBJNL,Indi Taluk.
Searches at four locations uncovered two sites and a school building worth ₹1.45 crore.
Movable assets including jewellery, vehicles and household articles were valued at ₹3.15 crore.The total DA value is pegged at ₹4.60 crore.
Yadagiri:
Veeresh Rudraiah Hiremat,Electrical Inspector,Yadagiri
Searches at three places revealed five sites,two houses and over four acres of agricultural land valued at ₹1.09 crore.
Movable assets worth ₹45.24 lakh were also found.The total DA value is estimated at ₹1.54 crore.
Hassan:
The Karnataka Lokayukta Police have registered a case against Sathyanarayana M.C.Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Mahanagara Palike,Hassan,on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Simultaneous searches were conducted at seven locations linked to the officer, including his residence and other associated premises.
According to Lokayukta officials,immovable assets worth approximately ₹5.98 crore were unearthed during the searches.
These include six sites valued at ₹52.60 lakh,three houses worth ₹5.30 crore,and agricultural land measuring 3 acres and 33 guntas valued at ₹15.75 lakh.
Movable assets worth about ₹1.46 crore were also found.
The recovery includes ₹15.75 lakh in cash, gold jewellery weighing 1 kg 36 grams valued at ₹90.75 lakh,and silver articles weighing 11 kg 208 grams worth ₹18.22 lakh, including items seized from a relative’s residence.
Two cars worth ₹22 lakh and other household articles and valuables estimated at ₹25 lakh were also detected.
Officials further said that two bank lockers were traced during the operation.
The total value of disproportionate assets has been estimated at ₹6.82 crore,allegedly amounting to 200.74 per cent in excess of his known sources of income.
Lokayukta officials said the searches were still in progress and that the valuation of assets is provisional. Further investigation is underway
