Rs.7.11 Crore Dacoity:Charge Sheet Filed Against 9 Accused in Siddapura Case.
The Bengaluru City Police of Siddapura Police station have filed a charge sheet against nine accused in connection with the sensational Rs.7.11 crore dacoity reported under Siddapura Police Station limits.
The case,registered as pertains to a large-scale robbery involving Rs.7.11 crore.
Following an extensive probe,the Investigating Officer has submitted the final report before the 56th ACMM CCH Court.

The accused have been charged under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS),2023, including offences related to dacoity,wrongful restraint and confinement,criminal conspiracy,criminal intimidation,and destruction of evidence.
Senior officer said the charge sheet is backed by 129 documentary and material exhibits.The evidence includes eyewitness testimonies,technical data,and forensic findings such as fingerprint analysis that allegedly establish the involvement of the accused.
Senior officers stated that the swift completion of the investigation highlights the department’s resolve to ensure prompt legal action in serious financial crime cases.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police,South Division, Lokesh B Jagalasar,commended ACP Jayanagar,Narayanaswamy,and his investigation team for completing the probe within a stipulated timeframe.
Police said the progress of the trial will be closely tracked to ensure the case is taken to its logical conclusion before the court.
