In yet another case highlighting rising incidents of road rage in the city,a goods vehicle driver was allegedly dragged for nearly one kilometre by a car driver following a minor collision on Wednesday afternoon.
The accused has been identified as Suresh.

Senior officer told reporters that the incident occurred around 12.45 pm.According to preliminary information, the altercation began after a goods vehicle reportedly brushed against a car,leading to a heated argument between the two drivers.
The verbal spat soon escalated into a confrontation. During the scuffle,the goods vehicle driver is said to have climbed onto the car.
Enraged by the situation,the car driver allegedly drove off with the man still on the vehicle,dragging him for nearly a kilometre.
As the video went viral on various social media platforms the Halasur Police registered a case and nabbed the accused in record time as within hours of incident took place and and further investigation is underway.
Police are verifying CCTV footage from the area and detained to ascertain the motive behind the act.
