Senior journalist and writer Binish Thomas,known for his advocacy of journalists’ rights and press freedom, has been selected for the prestigious 2026 Global Excellence Award.
The announcement was made by Sandeep Marwah, Chairman of the Festival Committee,during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism 2026,organised by the International Journalism Centre,New Delhi,and scheduled to be held in Noida.
Thomas was chosen in recognition of his outstanding contribution to international journalism.
The award ceremony will be held at Noida Film City,New Delhi,in the presence of Governors,Union Ministers, eminent journalists,writers and other dignitaries.
