A heated argument over parking an autorickshaw turned fatal in Ambedkar Colony near Nayandahalli,where a 28-year-old man was stabbed to death and another sustained serious injuries on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Guna (28),a resident of Ambedkar colony.His friend Venu suffered grievous injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical.
Senior officer said the incident occurred following a dispute that erupted two days ago over parking an autorickshaw in front of a house.
On Sunday,Guna and Venu were travelling on a motorcycle when the accused,Vinod,allegedly intercepted them.
During the confrontation,the argument escalated into a violent clash,during which Vinod allegedly attacked both men with a knife.Guna succumbed to his injuries on the spot,while Venu was rushed to hospital by locals.
Police said that all three men were residents of Ambedkar Colony and were known to each other Vinod, who is a friend of the deceased,fled the scene after the attack.
The Byatarayanapura police visited the spot,conducted a preliminary investigation,and registered a case of murder and efforts are on to secure the accused .
