Ramjas International School celebrated its Annual Day on 28 January 2026 with great enthusiasm and grandeur, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, cultural enrichment and holistic education. The event witnessed the gracious presence of eminent dignitaries, parents, staff members and students, making it a memorable and inspiring evening.
The celebration commenced with the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, which set a patriotic and reverential tone for the programme. The formal welcome of the gathering led to the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a shloka recital, symbolising knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment.
The occasion was to be graced by Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, as the Chief Guest, along with Smt. Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Lok Sabha, as the Guest of Honour, and Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Member of the Legislative Assembly.
However, Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Smt. Bansuri Swaraj, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, were unable to attend the event owing to the sudden demise of a senior leader.
Shri. Anil Kumar Sharma, Member of the Legislative Assembly was felicitated by the school leadership, following which the Chairman, Shri Atul Gupta, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the school’s vision of nurturing responsible, value-driven and future-ready citizens.
Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji conveyed his message, which was read out to the gathering by the Shri. Atul Gupta Ji, Chairman, Ramjas International School. The message appreciated the school’s emphasis on value-based and holistic education, and encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity, innovation, and a strong sense of national responsibility.
One of the major highlights of the evening was the release of the Coffee Table Magazine, which chronicles the school’s journey, achievements and milestones over the years. This was followed by the presentation of the Annual School Report, offering a comprehensive overview of academic performance, co-curricular accomplishments and institutional growth.
Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Assembly, addressed the gathering and lauded the school’s efforts in fostering academic excellence alongside cultural values. He appreciated the students’ confidence and creativity, and encouraged them to remain disciplined, socially aware, and committed to contributing positively to society.
This was followed by a musical tribute to the legendary composer Salil Chaudhary celebrating his centenary. The rendition was warmly appreciated by the audience.
The cultural segment began with a graceful Ardhanarishwar Shiv Stuti dance, reflecting India’s rich spiritual and artistic heritage. This was followed by a vibrant dance drama based on The Jungle Book, which captivated the audience with its energy and storytelling. Another powerful performance, the Chanakya Dance Drama, portrayed timeless lessons of wisdom, leadership and strategic thinking, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
A brief address by the Manager, Shri Vinod Kumar Dayal Ji, acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the teachers, students and support staff. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Honorary Secretary, Shri Yash Raj Gupta Ji, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries and all contributors. The celebration came to a dignified close with the rendition of the National Anthem.
