New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lauded the President’s address delivered to both Houses of Parliament at the start of the Budget Session, describing it as forward-looking and deeply reflective of India’s development trajectory.
The Prime Minister said the address effectively showcased the country’s rapid progress in recent years while clearly outlining priorities for the future. According to him, the speech provided a strong policy vision that will guide India’s developmental efforts in the coming months.
PM Modi noted that the spirit of building a Viksit Bharat was a central theme of the address, mirroring the nation’s collective goal of becoming a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous country. He emphasized that the address reaffirmed the government’s determination to accelerate reforms, promote innovation, and strengthen good governance.
Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister highlighted the constitutional importance of the President’s address, calling it a key parliamentary tradition that sets the tone for governance and policymaking.
