A major tragedy was narrowly averted in Bengaluru after a train rammed into a BMTC bus at a railway crossing at Sadaramangala in Kadugodi on Monday.
The impact caused damage to the bus,but fortunately, no fatalities were reported as no passengers were travelling.
Senior officer told reporters that, the incident occurred when the BMTC bus heading from Sadaramangala towards Kadugodi on railway parallel road .
The driver in a bid to reserve in a rash and negligent manner the bus plough into track and crashed into the train passing by.
Due to the impact a portion of the bus damaged and the conductor sustained injuries .
The Kadugodi police and the railway officials rushed to the spot shifted the injured conductor to the hospital and detained the driver for further investigations .
