Vidyaranyapura police have arrested four persons in connection with a house theft involving valuables worth ₹1.03 crore.
Senior officer told reporters that,the theft took place when the homeowner and his family had travelled to Maharashtra.
Investigations revealed that the accused included the victim’s car driver and two domestic helpers,who allegedly handed over the house keys to two accomplices to carry out the theft.
From the accused,police recovered 550 grams of gold ornaments,4 kg of silver articles,Rs.4 lakh in cash,and seized a two-wheeler used in the commission of the crime.
Further investigation is underway in both cases, police added.
