In a significant crackdown on international drug trafficking,Bengaluru Customs officials at Kempegowda International Airport intercepted a major consignment of high-grade narcotics on Sunday,December 28,2025.
During passenger profiling,officials intercepted three passengers arriving from Bangkok,Thailand.Upon a thorough examination of their checked-in baggage, authorities discovered 17.80 kg of Hydroponic Ganja.
The contraband,valued at approximately Rs.6.23 crore in the illicit market,was found meticulously concealed within the luggage.
The three accused have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act,1985.
