Newly married woman found dead,family alleges harassment by husband,in-laws

In a shocking incident,a 26-year-old newly married woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Bagalagunte,barely a month after her wedding.

The deceased has been identified as Aishwarya found hanging inside her husband’s house.

However,her family has alleged that she was murdered by her husband and the incident was made to appear as a suicide.

Aishwarya is the elder daughter of Mamata and Krishnamurthy,residents of Nagamangala.She was an MBA graduate and had married Likhith Singh,a resident of Bagalagunte,following mutual consent between both families.The wedding had taken place just 27 days ago.

Family members of the deceased alleged that within a few days of the marriage,Aishwarya had complained of harassment by her husband.

On Monday morning,both families reportedly held a reconciliation meeting to resolve the dispute.However, later in the evening,Aishwarya was allegedly assaulted, following which she was found dead.

Police said Aishwarya’s body was found hanging inside the house when family members arrived.The husband reportedly informed her parents that she had died by suicide.

However,the victim’s family has expressed strong suspicion and alleged foul play,claiming that the husband strangled her to death and staged it as a suicide.

Based on the complaint,the Bagalagunte police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Further inquiry is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death and verify the allegations made by the victim’s family.
