A 57-year-old man was killed after being suddenly lifted and tossed by a bull while he was walking along the road in Hulimangala village of Anekal taluk,on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
The deceased has been identified as Ramareddy a resident of Hulimangala.
According to locals,Ramareddy regularly walked along the same road.The tragic incident occurred at around 3 pm on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses said the bull charged at the elderly man without provocation,lifting him into the air and throwing him to the ground.He suffered a severe head injuries and died on the spot.
Few people at the shop close to the incident,rushed to the help shoes away the bull and rushed the injured to the hospital where he was declared dead.
The shocking visuals of the bull attacking the man have been captured on a shop’s CCTV camera,leaving residents in shock.
The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Hebbagodi Police Station.Police have visited the spot,registered a case,and initiated an investigation.
Further action will be taken based on CCTV footage and eyewitness statements.
Residents complained to authorities to take care of stray cattle and dogs which are losing threat to the walkers.
