In joint operations led by DCP Crime 2 Raja Imam Kasim P,CCB teams and Electronic City Division officials raided locations under Hebbagodi Police limits and detained 11 foreign nationals staying without valid passports or visas.
They were produced before FRRO officials and later shifted to the Foreigners Detention Centre for deportation proceedings.
A case has also been registered against house owners Shivarama Krishna (42) and Sangappa Patil (35) for renting premises to foreign nationals without following mandatory verification procedures.
Police have urged house owners to follow legal requirements and inform local authorities before renting to foreign nationals.
