A 28-year-old bank employee allegedly died by suicide reportedly due to harassment by his wife in Girinagar,
The deceased has been identified as Gagan Rao,who had married Meghana about eight months ago.Police said the couple frequently quarreled since their marriage,and Gagan was reportedly upset over constant domestic disputes.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Gagan took the extreme step due to alleged harassment from his wife.
Following the incident,Gagan’s sister lodged a complaint with the Girinagar Police Station,accusing Meghana of abetting his suicide.The Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
