Bengaluru has declared a high alert following the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort.Meanwhile,earlier on Monday afternoon before news of the Delhi incident broke,panic spread at BS Bangipura School near Bannerghatta after a firecracker exploded inside the school toilet.
The loud blast startled students,staff,and residents in the surrounding area,many of whom initially feared it was a bomb.
School authorities immediately inspected the spot and confirmed that the noise was caused by firecrackers.
Police teams from the Bannerghatta station rushed to the location and conducted an inspection.
Police officials also visited the school,and the management staff was questioned regarding the incident.
Classes were suspended for the day as anxious parents gathered at the school.Police officials examined CCTV footage to identify those responsible for setting off the firecracker.
Bengaluru City Police declared a high alert on Tuesday during the press conference following a car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi.
City police Commissioner,Seemant Kumar Singh stated that Security has been tightened at major public places, including airports, bus and railway stations, malls,Hotels and lodges and metro stations.
DCPs,ACPs and staff and Naka Bandi have enforced across the city,conducting intensified vehicle checks and closely monitoring for any suspicious activity. Citizens have been urged to stay calm,cooperate during checks, and report any unusual behaviour to authorities.
