Cyber Crime Police of Social Media Monitoring Cell booked YouTube channel for posting misleading information against chief ministers and others

The Social media monitoring cell staff of the cyber crime division has registered an FIR against youtube channel account for posting misleading information against chief ministers and others .

Based on the complaint Asma Begum,woman Assistant Sub Inspector,the cyber crime police have charged the accused under various sections of the IT Act on Friday.

According to the complaint,a YouTube channel named @News_Factory_09 posted a short video claiming fake Azim Premji foundation report on 568 schools across the state eggs given to the children only for three days against six eggs given to the children.

The post further said that the remaining three eggs are being swallowed by Chief Minister of Karnataka,the Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar,and the Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, presenting false information that could mislead the public.

According to the officials,there is no such report and the creator of the channel is being identified,posted such content with an intention to defame or spread false information.
