Warden of Central Prison of Parappana Agrahara arrested red handed by KSISF official while trying to smuggle mobile phone for inmate

The security personnel at the central prison of Parappana Agrahara on Thursday caught a 29-year-old warder red handed while trying to o smuggle a phone for an inmate.

This incident not only exposed lack of security measures to check on the use of contrabands inside the prison but also shed light on the high security 5G jammers installed in and around the prison worth several crores .

The accused Amar Praje was caught while he was trying to get inside the prison hood winking the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force personnel.

On suspicion he was stopped and frisked to find a mobile phone concealed in his under garment.

He was handed over to the prison superintendent who later filed a case with the police seeking detailed probe.

Amar working as warden in the central prison suspected to have helped inmates to smuggle contrabands inside the prison for a price even earlier..

The police are further investigating to ascertain possible involvement of others in the racket .

It may be recalled that as many as seven prison officials were suspended over dereliction of duty after rowdy sheeter celebrated his birthday by cutting cakes and wearing apple garland and the video recorded from the mobile of the bash video goes viral.

The video, went viral on social media, raised serious questions over internal security measures at the high-security facility.
