Chennai based businessman and owner of a film city has been booked for assaulting,harassing a city based fashion designer forcing her for a relationship .
Based on the complaint,the vyyalikaval police have registered an FIR against Santosha Reddy charging him under voluntarily causing hurt,criminal intimidation and sexual harassment on October 14 for further investigation..
In her complaint,the victim said she had taken up a cloth design project for the daughter of accused for their relative’s wedding and got introduced to him.
After couple of chats,the accused offer to invest in her business for which she declined .
He started talking to her asking her to help get an allience for his daughter.
Recently he visited her house on the pretext of help him to pacify his daughter as he had a fight and the daughter stopped talking to him.
Since he was emotional the victim tried to pacify but he suddenly proposed her .
Shocked victim when refused he assaulted her in rage and threatened her and her family members with dire consequences..
The police have began probe and gathering evidence to corroborate the victim’s claim for further investigation.
