Inspector of DJ Halli has been accused of illicit affair and cheating a city based beautician on the pretext of marriage .
The victim realized that she has been cheated after one and half years approached state police head and filed a complaint seeking justice.
The victim said that she met the officer identified as Sunil HB,when she went to file a complaint against a person who had cheated her financially.
The accused officer on the pretext of help took her personal number and started texting and the victim also responded.
After few days he invited her home stating he is alone and wife had gone out of station.
He even sent location and booked cab for the hotel room where he stayed.
The accused had physical relationship promising to marry her .
He even promised to accomodate her in a separate house and asked her to search for a decent location for the house.
The accused even promised to marry her through register marriage .
However the victim started searching for the house but every time he rejected the house stating not good location and no privacy.
The cheating came to light recently when Sunil started avoiding her.
After repeated attempts to approach him the victim realized she has been cheated and filed a complaint with the office of the Director General and Inspector General of police .
City based Dermatologist arrested for sexually assaulting patient
It may be recalled that the Ashoknagar police arrested a city based dermatologist for sexually assaulting a 21 year old patient,when she had visited his clinic in Austin town for consultation on October 18.
Based on the complaint the police arrested Dr.Praveen Rodriguez charging him under section 75 ( sexual harrasment) and 79( act intended to insult the modesty of women ) under BNS for further investigation.
