Bellandur Police Arrested four member Nepali Gang wanted in series of robberies targetting food delivery executives

The Bellandur police on Tuesday arrested a gang of four from Nepal working as security guards and housekeeping staff in the city involved in series of robberies targeting food delivery executives in and around Whitefield for the last six months .

The accused have been identified as Paras Singh,25, Mukesh Sai,19,Bipin Karki,20,Sameer Lohar,19 and a juvenile used to move around on bikes late in the night targeting delivery executives and rob them.

Based on the complaint filed by one of the victim identified as Suresh,22,who was assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone,the police intensified patrolling and managed to track down the accused near Kodathi gate close to wipro office and arrested them.

The Bellandur police have recovered nine mobile phones and three bikes used by the accused to commit the offence.

The police have remanded the accused to judicial custody and further investigations are on to ascertain their criminal bacground.
