Bengaluru B.Pharma student murdered by spurned lover near Mantri Square; accused arrested in record time by Srirampura Police

In a swift action,the srirampura police arrested a 28 year old habitual offender who stabbed a B-Pharma student to death after she declined his proposal.

The accused Vignesh,also lives in the neighbourhood of the victim used to talk and harass her for the past many months.

The accused had even used to visit the college of the victim,Yamini and used to warn the boys to stay away from her.

The students be moaned the demise of Yamini saying that she is not only studious but also very active and used to take in all cultural programs.

On October 10,being the college day she performed dance on stage with her friends.

The accused on the fateful day followed Yamini and stabbed her multiple times following an argument over his proposal and yamini declined vehimantly.

The accused who carried the knife always with him first sprayed chilli powder in her eyes and in a fit of rage of rejections stabbed her multiple times killing her on the spot .

She was returning home after attending exam at around 1 pm.

The accused had even harassed her and her family earlier,when they warned him to stay away.

The victim had even complained to srirampura police about the accused stalking her.The police summoned the accused and warned him to stay away from Yamini.

Based on the CCTV footage and statement of family members the police track down the accused Vignesh and his associate for providing shelter to him after the murder.

This operation was carried out under the guidance of B.S. Nemagouda,Deputy Commissioner of Police,North Division, and under the leadership of Krishnamurthy H,ACP, Malleshwaram Sub-Division,along with Poonacha N.M,Police Inspector,Srirampura Police Station,and his team of officers and staff,who successfully detected the case.
