The Electronic City Police have arrested a 34-year-old Nigerian National and his female friend red handed and recovered 490 grams of MDMA crystals and 43 grams of cocaine worth Rs.2.15 crore from them.
Based on the tip off,a team of police raided a place in Mahalashil layout in Eletronic city and caught Okey Samuel,34 and Q.Topista, 27 with the drugs while they were waiting for their clients to deliver.
The duo according to the police have source the drugs from their contacts from outside the state and selling it to their clients who were IT professionals and students .
Probe revealed that the accused had come to India in 2011 and overstayed after expiry of their visas.The duo had forged the travel documents to rent out the houses which is being probed .
City police commissioner appreciating the work , directed the police to track down the sources and the network of the drugs which is flowing into the city from the neighbouring states .
