Four kidnappers arrested by Peenya police for abducting a Mason and robbing him at gunpoint in Bengaluru

The Peenya police have arrested a gang of four for abducting a mason and robbing Rs.5,000 and two mobile phones at gun point from him on the pretext of offering drop in their car.

The accused Kanakamurthy,Kiran,Srikanth and Moula Sab Sheikh was track down to their house in Mallathalli based on the complaint filed by the victim on August 14.

The victim,native of Vijayapura and working in Bengaluru was waiting for the bus to visit his native at Jalahalli cross.The accused approached him and offered to drop.The victim readily agreed and got into the car.

The accused took the car in an isolated place in Dabaspete,threatened the victim at gun point and robbed the cash and two phones and sped away.

The police managed with the help of technical details track down the accused to their house in Mallathalli and arrested them.

The police also seized the country made pistol the accused used which was sourced by Moula Sab sheikh from his source from his native Vijayapura .

Investigations are on to ascertained the source of the weapon,a senior officer,said .

This operation was successfully carried out under the directions of Nagesh D L,IPS,Deputy Commissioner of Police,North-West Division,under the guidance of M S Ashok,Assistant Commissioner of Police,Peenya Sub-Division,and led by Anil Kumar M S,Police
Inspector,Peenya Police Station,along with other officers/staff.
