Principal Secretary to Govt of Karnataka,Social Work Dept,Major Manivannan P,has filed a complaint with the central division cyber crime police against unknown person for creating multiple Facebook accounts misusing his identity for cyber frauds .
Based on the complaint,the police have registered an FIR charging the accused under section 66 ( Computer related offences) of the IT Act .
Mr.Manivannan in his complaint said that he came to know that his FB account has been misused and de activated in for sometime.
However the accused misusing his photograph and identity,created multiple fake FB accounts to send spam messages to people in his name .
He requested the people to trace down the accused and disable such accounts operated in his name as preventive measures .
