Six injured in accidental fire at house in Electronics City rescued by alert hoysala staff of Electronic City

As many as six people belonging to two families sustained burn injuries while two motorcycles parked at the groundfloor were gutted in an accidental fire broke out at the three storeyed residential house in Krishna Layout in Bande park of Electronic city in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The fire broke out at the Electric meter board due to suspected electric short circuit and two bikes parked near electric meter board gutted.

Passers-by noticed the fire and alerted Hoysala patrolling vehicle who rushed to the spot and joined the rescue operation.

Senior officer told reporters that four persons staying in ground floor stuck inside due to smoke and later came out.

The injured were shifted to Jayashree hospital .Among the victims Sheela 44,sustained severe burn injuries and is treated at the ICU in victoria hospital.

The other victims including Gopi 49,Abhishek 18,Ramya 28,sustained minor injuries and shifted to Victoria hospital.

Two more people staying in 3rd floor,rescued with minor injuries and treated at the hospital,the police,said .

DCP Electronic City Division,Narayan M told reporters Night in Begur Hoysala staff rescued the victims and shifted them in hospital in hoysala vehicle saved 4 lives for the good gesture commissioner of police Seemanth Kumar Singh appreciated the Hoysala staff for their swift response and brave act in saving lives.

The Electronic city police are probing the case to ascertain the exact cause of the fire .
