Opposing Hindi Diwas being observed by Indian railway employees,women wing of Karnataka Rakshana vedike staged a protest,disrupted the program and shouted slogans demanding to suspend the program.
The women wing barged into stage argued with the dignitaries and tore the banners to mark their protest .
Panic gripped among the participants who stood speechless and helpless and protestors staged dharna and shouted slogans against hindi diwas.
The Upparpet police rushed to the spot tried to pacify the protestors and later detained them for disrupting the program..
The protestors warned Railway employees that protest will continue to oppose hindi imposition in Karnataka.
