The Bannerghatta police on Wednesday arrested the warden of a private school hostel to failing to prevent ragging of minor school boy,despite he complained to him and the principal .
The victim,who was recently admitted to the hostel was reportedly ragged by a group of five students pursuing PU and staying in the same hostel for four days between August 3 to August 6 .
The victim raised a complaint with the warden and the school principal,instead of taking strict action,the warden and principal called the students and issued warning.
Enraged by this the accused ragged the victim again by disrobing forced him to dance,sexually harassed and assaulted with a cloth hanger again in the night .
Unable to bear the harassment the victim narrated his ordeal with the parents,following which,father of the victim filed a complaint with the Bannerghatta police on Monday.
Based on the complaint the police have registered a case against five students,warden and principal charging them under POCSO case.
The police on Tuesday arrested the warden.The hostel housed around 40 children and the police are further investigating if the accused are involved in similar offence with the other children.
