A minor boy sustained head injury when he was travelling in a car standing in rooftop when the car passed through the overhead restricted beam at attur layout in vidyaranyapura on Sunday.
It was a narrow escape for the boy who was traveling with his family since the car was in normal speed the boy escaped with minor injuries other wise it would have been fatal.
It’s negligent on part of the family members who failed to notice the beam and the boy standing from the car through the sun roof.
Passers by noticed the incident recorded on the mobile which went viral on social media drawing criticism against the driver for his negligence.
The Injured boy was taken to a near by hospital and discharged after medical care.
The police warned the driver to be careful and let off.
It may be recalled that the city traffic police have issued warning against the vehicle with sun roof being used by children and the occupants terming it dangerous and distraction to the motorists .
