Dharmasthala Case:Sasikanth Senthil Files Defamation Case Against Janardhan Reddy

Tamilnadu Congress MP Sasikanth Senthil on Saturday has filed a criminal defamation case against Karnataka BJP,MLA from Gangavathy,Janardhan Reddy before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court here for levelling allegations and linking him to the Dharmasthala case which according to him is politically motivated.

Mr.Senthil,who had served as an IAS officer in Karnataka in the pain the past,including as Deputy Commissioner in Dakshina Kannada district,termed the allegation as “right wing coordinated attempt”for opposing their politics,and said that he also feels that Tamilnadu politics is being pushed in Karnataka.

Mr. Senthil asserted that he had no connection with the case and rejected the allegations made by Mr.Reddy, who is with the BJP.

Speaking to the media,he said that the case has been filed keeping the public interest and his personal right against defamation, he has taken action legally.

I have filed a criminal defamation case against Janardhan Reddy who had taken my name.Court has taken cognizance of it.He will be served a notice.

He (Reddy) will have to come and answer to the court as to on what basis allegations were made against me,”he said, adding that the hearing on the case will be on September 11.

Clarifying further he said that he has nothing to do with Dharmasthala issue not have any contacts with the accused.They have brought communal issue the meaning of Senthil is Subramanya but they depicted me as Christian .

I think they wanted to take revenge against me in Belllary case I do not know on whose behest they are doing this “he said .
