The Parappana Agrahara police have registered an FIR against five residents of an apartment in Chudasandra for verbally abusing and threatening their neighbouring woman and beating up stray dogs to chase them away over a row on Wednesday.
Based on the complaint filed by Neha Parveen,the police charged the accused identified as Salim,Sudha,Kavitha, Aminul Rahman and Vinod charging them under various sections of prevention of cruelty to animal act and also under wrongful restrain,criminal intimidation,killing or maiming animal and also under intentional insult to provoke breach of peace under BNS on thursday for further investigation.
The victim in her complaint,said that she was working in a private company living with her father in the apartment.
For the last four years she was feeding stray dogs which the accused used to object and even had fight with her .
On Thursday while she along with her father feeding the stray,the accused confronted her chased away the dogs violently and hurled abuses at her and threatened her with dire consequences .
