City Corporation Commissioners Conduct Early Morning Site Inspections and Central City Corporation Commissioner Held Review Meeting with Officials

*Site Inspection by Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner:*

Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner, Pommula Sunil Kumar conducted a site inspection today at 6:00 AM.

He visited the Auto Tipper Muster Point in Yelahanka Satellite Ward and the Pourakarmika Muster Point in Thindlu Ward to review attendance and solid waste disposal operations.

The Commissioner emphasized that auto tippers and pourakarmikas must report on time at the muster points.

Pourakarmikas must ensure cleanliness not only on the roadsides but also along shoulder drains and footpaths. He directed the officials to strictly record attendance of all personnel.

He undertook a 2-kilometer walking inspection of the area,emphasizing prioritization of cleanliness,repair of footpaths,and strict action against bulk waste generators who fail to dispose of waste properly.

He instructed that shops be warned to maintain cleanliness in front of their premises,and fines should be imposed on non-compliance.

Joint Commissioner Mohammad Naeem Momin and other officials were present during the inspection.

*Site Inspection by Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner:

Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner,K.N. Ramesh,conducted an inspection today at 6:00 AM within the Jayanagar Ward limits,reviewing muster points and garbage black spots.He instructed the officials to resolve the issues promptly and efficiently.

He stressed the need for effective mass cleanliness drives in the corporation limits.Damaged slabs on footpaths must be repaired immediately. He also directed the maintenance of cleanliness near the Jayanagar Shopping Complex.

He interacted with local residents near the complex, discussing local issues and assuring resolution on a priority basis.

*Site Inspection by Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner:

*Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner,Dr. Rajendra K.V.,visited various areas including Havanur Circle, Basaveshwaranagar, Siddiah Puranik Road,and 8th B Main Road along with officials at 6:00 AM today.

He visited the muster point in Rajajinagar Ward and stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the surrounding areas.

He visited Netaji Subhash Chandra Park and directed that fogging operations be conducted to control mosquitoes.At the Indira Canteen,he instructed staff to maintain food quality and ensure adequate quantity.

He also noted that dangling OFC (Optical Fiber Cables) from trees and near footpaths were causing inconvenience to pedestrians and must be removed.

He directed that business licenses be issued only after legal compliance. Continuous desilting of storm water drains and major drains must also be ensured.

Joint Commissioner Sangappa and other officials were present during the inspection.

*Site Inspection by Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner:

Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner,Ramesh D.S.,conducted a detailed inspection from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM today,visiting several locations along with officials.

He inspected the storm water drain issues near Iblur Junction,Wipro,and Sunny Brooks and directed swift completion of necessary works to prevent waterlogging.

He stressed the need to expedite road widening of Doddakannahalli Road and the CDP road connecting Sarjapur to Varthur State Highway to 45 meters,which requires forest land acquisition. He instructed that a meeting be convened immediately to facilitate the handover of this land.

He also reviewed the road widening and drainage work near Panathur H Cross and Panathur railway underpass, instructing timely completion.

At Balagere,he inspected the ongoing RCC wall construction along the storm water drain and directed speedy completion.

During his visit to Varthur Kodi Bridge,he reviewed the widening project and instructed that pending issues be resolved for early completion.Lastly,he visited Sai Layout and instructed officials to take appropriate steps to prevent waterlogging in the area.

Additional Commissioner (Development) Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar,Joint Commissioner Dakshayini, and Chief Engineer Lokesh,along with other officials,were present during inspection.

*Meeting Conducted by Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner:

Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner, Rajendra Cholan chaired a meeting this morning at the city corporation office with officials from various departments including Revenue,Works,Finance,Health, and Electrical.

The Commissioner instructed that all officials actively contribute to improving Central City Corporation’s operations.

Key directives included increasing property tax collection,permanent elimination of black spots,filling potholes, ensuring proper maintenance of streetlights, and strengthening sanitation activities.

He emphasized that all officials must understand their responsibilities and carry out their duties diligently and proactively every day.

Joint Commissioner Ranganath,Deputy Commissioner Raju, and Chief Engineers Suguna and Vijaykumar Haridas,along with other concerned officials, were present during the meeting.
