A gang of three masked men armed with gun barged into a jewellery shop in Madanayakanahalli threatened the owner and the staff robbed 184 grams of gold valuables and sped away in a car parked outside on Thursday night .
It was around 8.30 and the owner, Kanhaiyalal was busy checking the days transactions minutes before closing the shop .
The accused wearing mask and armed with gun and other lethal weapon barged into the Ram Jewellers situated in Machohalli gate,threatened Kanhaiyalal and the staff before emptying the jewel boxes kept at the showcase in the bar they carried and escaped .
Kanaiah Lal raised alarm while the accused were threatened him with dire consequences and sped away in a car waiting for them outside the shop.
The entire incident occurred within 15 to 18 seconds captured in the CCTV footage installed at the shop.By the time neighbours rushed to the help,the accused had sped away the with the valuables estimated to be around Rs.18 Lakh.
The Madanayakanahalli police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe.Superintendent of Police,CK Baba,visited the spot and formed four special teams to track down the accused.We have some clues on the accused and wll be nabbed soon”he said.
