The Govindapura police on Thursday arrested a man for sexually harassing a girl in broad daylight while she was out buying groceries recently .
The accused,identified as Mohammad Maroof Sharief,is now facing charges of sexual harassment and public indecency.
Senior officer told reporters that,Sharief reportedly made obscene gestures,forcibly kissed and bite her in the middle of the road.
The victim broke free,rushed home and informed her mother.Shocked family later approached the police and filed a complaint.
Based on the complaint,the Govindapura police track down the accused tracking him down through the CCTV footage recovered from in and around the scene of crime.
