Mother of one of the victim died in stampede filed a complaint with the Commercial police station on thursday that pair of ear rings has been stolen from her daughters body during post mortem.
Based on the complaint filed by Ashwini,mother of the victim,the police have registered a case of theft on Thursday against the staff of the post mortem section for further investigations.
In her complaint, Ms.Ashwini,mother of 18-year-old Divyanshi,one of the 11 victims killed in the stampede on June 4,said that the Ashwini stated that the earrings, which were gifted by her brother to Divyanshi,an year and half ago,were found missing when the body was handed over to them .
The Family suspect that the staff at the mortuary section might have stolen them and sought the police to conduct a detailed probe .
The police have initiated a probe and gathering details about the staff to question them for further investigation.
