In a dramatic twist of events following the Brutal Murder of Shivaprakash,a rowdy turned realtor in Bharati Nagar, five accused in the case surrendered before the case in the wee hours of Thursday.
The police produced the accused before the court and taken them into the custody while the police are issuing notice to the BJP MLA Byrathi Basavaraj to appear before them for questioning.DCP,East Division,D.Devaraj, said that the accused identified as Kiran 25,Vimal, Pradeep,Madan and Samuel have been arrested and produced before court and taken into police custody for 10 days while the prime accused identified as Jagadisha alias Rowdy Jagga is on the run and efforts are on to trach him down.
The prime accused according to the police are friends turned foe of the deceased over a property in Avalahalli .
The two had many face offs and the accused had plotted to Kill Shivaprakash few months ago and waiting for the opportunity to strike .
Shivaprakash who is also a rowdy sheeter having 11 cases pending against him used to stay at home most of them time and even had hired security .
Last week he was released from jail on bail and used to move even had discussed with his family members about the threat to his life the accused Jagga according to the family members close to MLA who influenced the police to drop his name from the rowdy sheet list .
High drama prevailed at the court hall when the accused they told the magistrate that the police had assaulted them.
The court had taken strong objection against the police for assaulting and warned them to take legal action.
The police have now escorted the accused to the station for further investigations to ascertain the exact motive and the possible role of others in the case .
