Unidentified assailants on Tuesday brutally murdered a Rowdy Sheeter in East Bengaluru.
The deceased is Shivakumar alias Biklu Shivu,40,a resident of Halasuru. He had 11 Criminal cases against him in Bharthinagar police station.
Senior officer told reporters,on Tuesday evening,the four assailants approached Shivu in a car near his home and hacked him to death suspectedly using machetes.They then fled the spot.
The body was then moved to the hospital where it was declared brought dead.The body has currently kept in the morgue and will soon be sent for autopsy procedures.
A case has been registered under BNS sections related to murder.
Prima facie the police suspect a past rivalry behind the gruesome killing.Probe is on.
