A 48-year-old woman ended her life after she found her 24-year-old daughter found dead by hanging at their residence in Nagondanahalli in whitefield on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Rachitha Reddy, 48,a home maker and Shreeja Reddy,24,worked as data analyst at a private firm.They were natives of Andhra Pradesh, police said.
Senior officer said,the incident was reported in on Monday morning when Rachitha found Shreeja hanging inside her room and called her husband,Shreedhar Reddy,who was at work,and informed him about the incident.
Shreedhar then informed their neighbour seeking help . When the neighbour arrived,Rachitha was also found hanging and Shreeja was on the bed.
Police found a death note in Telugu where Shreeja claimed that she was taking extreme step due to depression.Police suspect that the mother took the extreme step unable to to bear the loss of her only daughter.
The whitefield police have taken up a case of un -natural death to ascertain the exact reason behind their extreme step .
