The Kadugodi police have arrested a 24-year-old youth for filming his neighbour taking bath in her house in Channasandra on Tuesday.
Based on the complaint filed by the husband of the victim,the accused Khaja Moihiddin KC,an electrician by profession was arrested .
Senior officer told reporters that the accused staying in the neighbourhood of the victim noticed the woman aged 29 was bathing her nine-year-old daughter in the bathroom of the house on Tuesday morning.
The accused sneaked from backside of the building and through the open window started filming the act on his mobile phone.
The victim noticed the unusual movement and raised the alarm following which the accused escaped and reached home.
Based on the complaint,the police reached the spot and verified the CCTV footage from in and around to identify the accused.
By the time,the police reached his house,the accused had deleted the video.However the police have arrested the accused under Protection of Children from Sexual act and also under section 77 (offense of voyeurism) of BNS for further investigation.
The accused said to be first time offender confessed to the crime and said that he was filming the video to watch.
