The Byatarayanapura police have arrested two including a 25-year-old engineer for peddling drugs in the form of Marijuana laced gummies .
Based on the tip off,a team of police headed Inspector Jeevan and team caught Mohammed Zahid,and his associate,Ismail Adnan,red handed while delivering the drugs .
The police team recovered 1440 grams gummi packs worth three lakh along with the cash of Rs.50,000 from them.
The accused were waiting for the clients in Patel Muniyappa layout to deliver the goods to their clients when the duo was arrested.
Senior officer told reporters that the accused Zahid is a BE graduate working as Engineer at a private firm while Adnan is BBA graduate working in a private firm.
The duo are peddling drugs along with their associate who is absconding.Efforts are on to nab him to ascertain the source of the drugs, the police,said .
The duo have been booked under NDPS Act for further investigation.
