A 34-year-old Professor of a private college found dead under mysterious circumstances at his apartment in Soladevanahalli on Monday.
The deceased Shreyas Thade,native of West Bengal and son of a retired IAS officer was teaching Psychology at Acharya college.He was living alone and living in a rented apartment .
Senior officer told reporters that,the incident came to light when the the domestic help went to work on Sunday and the door was locked from inside .
Thinking he might have slept,she went back only to come the next day.When even on monday when there was no response she alerted the apartment owner.
The owner of the apartment along with others after repeated attempt to get response forced open the door to find Thade lying dead on the bed.
The police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem.The police have taken up a case of un natural death and awaiting post mortem report to ascertain the cause of death .
