On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries,H.D. Kumaraswamy,participated in the Yoga Day celebrations held at the Salem Steel Plant premises in Tamilnadu.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of employees and residents of the Salem Township,who gathered at Hill View Stadium to collectively embrace yoga India’s ancient gift to the world.
The Minister extended heartfelt wishes to all citizens and emphasised the importance of integrating yoga into daily life for physical vitality,mental clarity,and inner peace.
He also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership in transforming yoga into a global movement for wellness,harmony,and holistic living.
“Yoga is not just an exercise,it is a way of life,one that builds healthier individuals and a stronger nation,”the Minister stated.
The event was organised in collaboration with SAIL and the Ministry of Steel,in line with the Government of India’s broader mission of building a fit,resilient,and Viksit Bharat by 2047.
