Bengaluru,Udupi,and Hassan Schools received bomb threat Emails later termed it as Hoax

Several schools across the city have received hoax email threatening to blow up on Monday.

This email came three days after Kempegowda International Airport (KIA)gets similar threat.

Similar threat was made to schools in Udupi and in Hassan which were later termed fake after the police personnel and bomb detection and disposal squad checked thoroughly before terming it as hoax.

On Monday panic gripped among the staff of several schools in north and west division stating that the bomb has ben plated and will explode.

The staff alerted the police who rushed to the spot with the BDDS and checked the premises to declared it as hoax.

It was a same email sent to many schools in Bengaluru, and other parts of the state,the police,said adding that the police have launched the probe to ascertain the source of the mail .

Earlier  on Friday hoax email was received by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in charge of handling security at the Bengaluru airport .

The email stated as “Madras Tigers:Human IEDs to detonet near Fuselage/Airport Prayer Rooms. Evacuate All Soon! (sic)” the email read.

The email from chitrakalas_gopalan@outlook.com also claimed that EFPs (explosive projectiles) and pipe bombs were planted on the airport premises.A thorough search was made before declared it as hoax.

An FIR filed by the airport police based on the complaint filed by Prakash Kumar Mishra,senior official of the CISF, charged the unknown accused under section 125,(endangering human life or personal safety) 351(4), ( criminal intimidation ) 353(1) (Statements conducing to public mischief)  of the BNS.
