The Pulakeshinagar police on Tuesday arrested a 36-year-old unemployed man from Banaswadi for sexually harassing a 28-year-old advocate and another woman on Friday evening.
Based on the complaint,the police registered an FIR against the accused later identified as Madan and tracked him down through the CCTV footage .
The accused according to the police is pervert addicted to porn.“We are checking his background to ascertain whether he was involved in similar offences earlier,a senior officer,said .
The accused confronted the victim aged around 28 years while she was walking towards a shop and sexually harassed her at around 7 pm on Milton street, wheelers road .
Shocked victim raised an alarm following which the accused escaped and even molested another woman who was walking near a park .
The duo later approached the police and filed a complaint.The police have charged the accused under Outraging the modesty and Sexual harassment under BNS and remanded him to the judicial custody.
