As many as 35 children escaped narrowly with minor injured when a bus belonging to private bus toppled after colliding with another bus near Madavara junction in the outskirts of the city on TUesday.
The bus belonging to DPS was heading to the school after picking up children.The driver was over speeding and driving in rash and negligent manner crashed into another bus coming from the opposite direction.
He lost control and the bus toppled .
Passers-by rushed to help and pulled out all the children out to safety.The Madanayakanahalli police rushed to the spot and with the help of crane pulled out the bus to roadside.The police called the parents of the children to update them about the incident .
The police have detained the driver and subjected him to the medical examination to ascertain the cause of the accident .
The residents blamed that driver reckless driving led to the accident and requested the police to take necessary action so that such incidents should not be repeated .
