Hours after taking charge,city police commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh reacted to the incident stating that the police are investigating based on the FIR filed and will continue to investigate systematically .
He was referring to the stampede case filed in the cubbon park police station limits .
“I had taken charge late in the night and met some of the officials.I have called others to discuss about the plans and the progress of the investigations,he said .
The Investigations is on and few arrests have been made.However it is too early to share the details of the investigations,he added .
The city police is capable of working and there are challenges.We have to take these challenges and work for the better of the society .
He further said that the process of handing over the case to the CID is at the discussion level .
