The Gouribidanur police on Sunday arrested a 28-year-old Autorickshaw driver for cutting his birthday cake with a sword at his village on Saturday.
The accused Anil Kumar,resident of Lagumenahalli was celebrating his birthday with his friends and cut the cake with a sword .
One of his friend recorded the celebration on his mobile phone and shared on his social media account.The video went viral and many people commented about the behaviour.
Taking cognisance of this,the jurisdictional police taken up a suo motu case and track down Anil Kumar.He was arrested on charges of public nuisance and under arms Act and seized the sword for further investigation.
The police recorded his statement and released him out on station bail with a set of conditions .
