The Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch raided an apartment and caught two BBA graduates red handed and recovered 1.2 kilograms of Marijuana,220 grams of Hydro Ganja worth Rs.13 lakh from them.
The accused according to the police are BBA graduates from Kerala working in a private firm in the city.The duo wanted to make quick money and resorted to peddling drugs.
The accused confessed that they have sourced the drugs from their contact in Kerala and selling into their customers .
The duo was booked under NDPS and further investigations are on to ascertain their network .
In a separate incident,the city police The CCB officials on Saturday raided a godown situated in Thalaghattapura on Kanakapura road and recovered Tobacco and Nicotine products and Pan Malasa and Gutkha packs stored illegally worth Rs.61.8 lakh.
The accused have stored the products without required permits and selling it to their customers across the city illegally.
Meanwhile the Banaswadi police raided a shop in HRBR Layout and seized 201 e-cigarettes, 297 flavoured Hookah Products and foreign brand cigarettes total worth Rs.70,000,
The shop keeper during the raid is absconding and efforts are on to track him down.
