*Special Camps to be Conducted at 8,972 Polling Stations.
Due to the need for further progress in the ongoing survey of Scheduled Castes within the BBMP limits, and in light of requests from several Scheduled Caste community organizations citing disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions, the timeline for completing the survey has been extended.
Accordingly, survey operations will also be carried out on Sunday, June 1,a public holiday,to ensure successful completion.
Special camps (Survey Blocks) will be organized for three consecutive days from May 30 to June 1,2025, across all assembly constituencies covering all survey blocks.
It has been instructed that polling stations and government buildings be selected for organizing these special camps from May 30 to June 1, 2025.
Within the BBMP limits,a total of 8,972 polling stations have been designated for these camps.
*It has been advised to conduct special camps in schools, colleges, and government buildings located in areas with a high population of the Scheduled Caste community.
*On the days of the special camp, arrangements should be made to facilitate the involvement of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BBMP Link Workers to assist enumerators.
*The BBMP has been directed to promote the special camps using its vehicles for outreach and awareness.
*As schools and colleges have reopened, it is recommended to organize the camps in the verandas of these buildings, selecting locations that are sheltered from rain and wind.
*Arrangements for banners, chairs, tables, and drinking water should be managed locally.
*All concerned have been instructed to organize the special camps in a systematic and efficient manner from May 30 to June 1,2025,and to take necessary steps to ensure maximum community participation.
