In a swift action,the Hoysala patrolling team of Madanayakanahalli police rescued a 30-year-old woman in a nick of time after her husband tried to kill her by forcing her to gulp glue over a domestic row in Madanayakanahalli on Sunday.
The victim Manjula was found lying outside her house unconscious when Hoysala team comprising of police constable Nagesh and driver Hasan .
The duo reached the spot after getting alert from neighbours that the couple were fighting on Sunday night .
Within minutes the duo reached before the accused Siddalingaiah escaped leaving Manjula in an unconscious state.
She was rushed to a hospital and doctor after examination confirmed that she was forced to consume glue and even strangled in an attempt to kill her.
She was admitted in ICU and after treatment,she is recovering.
Based on the complaint filed by Nagesh,the police tracked down Siddalingaswamy on Wednesday and arrested him.
Inquiries revealed that Siddalingaiah swamy used to come home drunk and fight with Manjula accusing her of illicit affair .
On Sunday the couple has a fight and in a fit of rage and forced her to drink the fevi kwik 
glue he was carrying in the pocket and even strangled her .
The accused has been booked under section 109 ( attempt to murder ) and section 85 (A husband or his relative who subjects a woman to cruelty ) of BNS for further investigation.
