Armed man attacked and robbed bike taxi driver and made away with valuables

midst the incident of series of attacks on Saturday night in Indiranagar creating panic among the residents , a 24-year-old bike taxi driver was attacked and robbed by an armed man on 80 feet road in the wee hours of Sunday.

The victim,Adil Ameer Sab,resident of Cholurpalya was returning home after dropping the passenger to Thippasandra when the accused confronted him at around 2.30 am.

The accused asked him drop to KR Puram Railway station for which Adil told him that he is going home for which the accused pulled out a knife and tried to stab his neck.

Adil resisted in the melee,he received a slash on his neck and injured his fingers.

The accused pushed Adil down,grabbed the scooter along with the mobile phone fixed on the holder worth Rs.15,000 and and sped away.

The victim managed to reached the station and filed a complaint.The police suspect that the accused is suspected to the same involved in earlier three attacks.

Based on the complaint the police have registered a case of robbery for further investigation.
